At 00:48 on Sunday, 18 June, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Prees.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Small fire involving electrical consumer unit and a number of electrical sockets. 1 tree and section of hedgerow also alight, 1 hosereel jet in use.
