At 12:08 on Tuesday, 4 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Caravan Fire in Oswestry.
2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.
Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:
- Breathing Apparatus (BA)
- Hosereel jet
- Thermal imaging camera
Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.
Caravan fire involving cylinder on layby. Crews extinguished fire using 2 hosereel jets and breathing apparatus. Thermal Imaging Camera used to check for further hot spots. Police in attendance for traffic management
