At 15:17 on Wednesday, 19 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Car fire involving a blown turbo which ignited grass underneath the vehicle. The vehicle has been made safe using a hosereel jet.
