At 16:31 on Wednesday, 26 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Water Rescue.

4 fire appliances including the Water Rescue Unit were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Land Ambulance Service and the Police.

Assistance to police. Casualty in care of police.
