Tractor Fire

At 21:45 on Friday, 28 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Tractor Fire in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Prees and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

Combine harvester fire caused by overheated park break- extinguished by fire service personnel.
