At 07:14 on Saturday, 29 July, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Craven Arms.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Craven Arms.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Axes/Hammers/Crowbars/Croppers
• Hosereel jet
• Knapsacks

Fire in base of 1 large oak tree, crews extinguished using 1 extended hose reel jet, 1 axe and 1 knapsack
