At 10:21 on Thursday, 3 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Church Stretton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

2 large piles of grass have been dragged out and cooled down by fire service personnel.
