At 19:39 on Tuesday, 8 August, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Wolverhampton .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Crews were joined by Tettenhall appliance from neighboring brigade West Midlands/Staffordshire Fire and Rescue to reports of a field fire. Fire involved 1 large unattended bonfire which had spread to grassland and a fence, crews extinguished using 2 hose reel jets.
