At 15:42 on Tuesday, 5 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Telford.

2 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of a horse in the river- this incident was a false alarm with good intent
