At 22:05 on Thursday, 21 December, 2023, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Prees.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Prees. Operations and Fire Investigation officers were in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Short extension ladder
• Thermal imaging camera

Brick and block building approximately 10m x 10m fully involved in fire. Crews extinguished using 2 hosereel jets. Crews continued to dampen down.
