At 15:29 on Wednesday, 3 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Norton-in-Hales.

1 fire appliance including the Aerial Ladder Platform was mobilised from Market Drayton.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Thermal imaging camera

Smoke issuing through brickwork from a chimney. Crews using chimney rods and thermal imaging camera. Aerial Ladder Platform in attendance to inspect chimney stack.
