At 04:10 on Tuesday, 9 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Crews assisted our neighboring brigade North Wales with an automatic fire alarm which was found to be a false alarm with good intent caused by cooking fumes
