At 15:23 on Tuesday, 30 January, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury, Telford and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involved 1 van with mechanical failure resulting in coolant loss. Fire crews used 1 thermal image camera.
