At 16:54 on Monday, 12 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Oswestry.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Ellesmere and Oswestry. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Report of smoke visible from property. This incident was a false alarm good intent due to cooking fumes from chip pan fryer. No action or equipment required by Fire Service.
