At 06:16 on Wednesday, 21 February, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Church Stretton and Craven Arms. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

This incident involved a small fire within a freezer in the garage. Dry powder was used to extinguish along with a thermal image camera to inspect.
