At 19:45 on Saturday, 2 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Bonfire in Wellington.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Wellington.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet
• Rakes, shovels, mathooks

Incident involved garden fire to the rear of property, crews used one hose reel jet and drag rakes to extinguish.
