At 08:17 on Thursday, 28 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning in Shrewsbury.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Small fire in storeroom. Crews extinguished and used thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots.
