At 18:49 on Thursday, 28 March, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smell Of Burning in Shrewsbury.

Reports of a smell of burning in cellar of property which involved a small electrical fire in a consumer unit. Fire was out on arrival of the fire service. A qualified electrician attended and made safe. Fire crews used thermal image camera
