At 20:16 on Sunday, 14 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in Ellesmere.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Ellesmere.

Reports of thick black smoke in area. After investigations by crews one small domestic bonfire was found, responsible person in attendance. No action by fire service.
