At 21:39 on Wednesday, 17 April, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Telford Central.

False alarm caused by ingress of water into detector head. Water was isolated, affected detector removed, and a replacement fitted, by Fire Service personnel.
