At 21:28 on Saturday, 4 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth.

This incident was a false alarm with good intent caused by a large bonfire in a bounded in a safe location. Advice given to occupier.
