At 12:13 on Monday, 6 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire in Shrewsbury .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Positive Pressure Ventilation

Incident involves one kettle which was left on hob. Fire was out on arrival of crews. Positive pressure ventilation fan in use to clear smoke logging within flat.
