At 16:48 on Monday, 6 May, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Breathing Apparatus (BA)
• Hosereel jet
• Thermal imaging camera

One saloon vehicle 60% damaged by fire. 2 breathing apparatus' and 2 hose reel jets used to extinguish.
