At 13:38 on Monday, 26 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Railway Embankment in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance including the Incident Support Unit was mobilised from Bridgnorth and Much Wenlock.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Knapsacks

Approximately 20 x 3 metres of hedgerow alight. Crews used knapsacks to extinguished.
