At 11:47 on Saturday, 31 August, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Embankment in Bridgnorth.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Cleobury Mortimer.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Hosereel jet

Approximately 50 meters by 5 meters of hedgerow and embankment alight. Crews used hosereel jets to dampen down the area.
