At 17:56 on Sunday, 20 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Electricity Cable in Ellesmere.

Also at the scene of the incident were: a utility company.

Cable arcing due to tree which has fallen down onto cables. Crews have cordoned off the area to prevent public access. Scottish Power engineers to attend.
