At 09:56 on Monday, 21 October, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire Commercial in Wem.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Wem. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving heating system which was out on arrival of crews. Thorough inspection carried out using thermal imaging camera and gas monitor.
