At 06:01 on Saturday, 9 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Newport, Telford Central and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Incident involving 1 vehicle in ditch of carriageway. No persons trapped.
