At 11:51 on Saturday, 9 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Shrewsbury .

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Police.

Fire involving camping cooking equipment. Crews dampened down using 1 hosereel jet.
