At 23:08 on Monday, 25 November, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Chirk.

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

Carbon monoxide alarm activating in property. Crews carried out thorough inspection using gas monitor and gave advice. Assisted by North Wales Fire Service.
