At 17:17 on Saturday, 7 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as SSC Non Urgent in Church Stretton.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Church Stretton.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Large tree collapsed onto property bringing down power cables. Crews made property safe for occupier to stay in property using small gear. Issue of loose power cables has been reported to National Grid.
