At 17:59 on Saturday, 7 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Electricity Cable in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Dry powder extinguisher

Electricity cable which fell and came to rest in hedge. Crews monitored area and made the area safe. Crews stood by with dry powder extinguisher due to some visible flames. Area has been cordoned off until National Grid attend.
