At 21:03 on Saturday, 7 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Bridgnorth.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Bridgnorth.

This incident was a false alarm good intent. Reports of sparks coming from street lighting. On inspection from crews this was a false alarm and no action was required.
