At 18:34 on Saturday, 14 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Church Stretton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Church Stretton. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Thermal imaging camera

This incident was a false alarm good intent due to a faulty light. Crews used a thermal imaging camera to investigate.
