At 13:44 on Tuesday, 24 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Fuel Leak/Spillage Small in Shrewsbury.

4 fire appliances including the Environmental Protection Unit and the Prime Mover were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Tweedale.

Also at the scene of the incident were: the Highways Agency, the Police and Shropshire Council.

Fuel leak from vehicle. Fuel absorbed using environmental grab packs and environment pod utilised.
