At 16:36 on Sunday, 29 December, 2024, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Wellington.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm due to fumes from burnt cooking. Advice given to occupier.
