At 13:41 on Thursday, 2 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Market Drayton.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Prees. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Incident involves flue from generator. Crews used small tools and a thermal imaging camera to investigate and ventilate flue.
