At 06:47 on Friday, 17 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as AFA in Telford.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Tweedale.

This was a false alarm caused by a water leak from the boiler. Advice was given by attending crew.
