At 21:29 on Friday, 17 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newtown.

1 fire appliance including the Water Rescue Unit was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Request from Mid & West Wales Fire Service for assistance at one male in water. Prior to arrival at incident Shrewsbury Water Rescue Crews were stood down as male out of water
