At 21:32 on Friday, 17 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting that a Road Traffic Collision had taken place in Newport.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Newport. An Operations officer was in attendance.

Reports of road traffic collision. Fire crews released one male from vehicle and made vehicle safe. Male was left in the care of ambulance for precautionary check
