At 11:12 on Thursday, 23 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smoke In Area in telford.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Tweedale.

Reports of smoke in the area which proved to be a burning of commercial waste at rear of housing development. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet and 1 drag rake to extinguish.
