At 18:00 on Wednesday, 29 January, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Smell Of Burning.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Minsterley and Shrewsbury. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was found to be a false alarm caused by an overheated water heater.
