At 21:56 on Wednesday, 5 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Old Airfield, Eaton on Tern, Market Drayton .

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Hodnet and Wellington.

Fire was found to be involving a bonfire in the open, fire being allowed by fire crew to die down naturally.
