At 22:07 on Wednesday, 5 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as House Fire in Western Rise, Ketley.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Telford Central and Wellington.

Call to smoke alarm actuated which was found to be a false alarm caused by fumes from cooking.
