At 16:24 on Friday, 7 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Property Fire in Lydbury North.

2 fire appliances were mobilised from Bishops Castle and Craven Arms.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Small gear

Crews have extinguished a fire within a flue of a biomass boiler using small gear to scrape remaining tar from inside biomass boiler.
