At 16:34 on Monday, 10 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Animal Rescue in Birdgnorth.

4 fire appliances including the Rescue Tender were mobilised from Bridgnorth and Wellington. An Operations officer was in attendance.

One 28 year old horse rescued from bank using slings and ropes from Animal Rescue Unit. Horse relocated to field and left in the care of vet
