At 17:13 on Monday, 24 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Car Fire in Shrewsbury .

3 fire appliances were mobilised from Shrewsbury and Telford. An Operations officer was in attendance.

This incident was a false alarm caused by a broken down vehicle.
