At 20:28 on Friday, 28 February, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Fire In Open in Broseley.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Much Wenlock.

Fire in the open which proved to be a large bonfire well alight. Fire crews used 1 hose reel jet.
