At 17:23 on Saturday, 1 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting a fire classified as Chimney Fire in Lilleshall.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Newport.

Crews used the following equipment to tackle the fire:

• Chimney rods
• Small gear
• Thermal imaging camera

Fire involving flu and log burner. Crews extinguished using chimney rods and small gear.
