At 22:12 on Saturday, 1 March, 2025, SFRS Fire Control received a call reporting an incident classified as Smoke In Area in Shrewsbury.

1 fire appliance was mobilised from Shrewsbury.

Attending crews used the following equipment:

Reports of strong smell of burning in area. On inspection of crews this was established as a small bonfire in rear of garden. Extinguished using buckets of water.
